Tata Steel
Marga Zuijderwijk studied Geology at Utrecht University (the Netherlands), with a focus on Structural Geology and Material Science. Research after her Masters was on deformation in fault zones of the Vestfold Hills in Antarctica, and specializing in Electronic microscopy (TEM and EBSD).
She joined Corus (which later became part of Tata Steel) in 2002, in the Surface Analysis group working in the field of galvanizing and responsible for the electron microscopes. Later she moved to the Coating Technology group where she is currently working on galvanizing high strength steels. Her focus is on selective oxidation and pre-oxidation.
