
Josef Faderl

After finishing his master degree in physics at Johannes-Kepler University in Linz (Austria), Josef Faderl joined voestalpine in 1988 as a research engineer. His first job at voestalpine was to set up a hot-dip galvanizing laboratory and to create a knowledge base on hot-dip galvanizing. Since 1993 Mr. Faderl is in charge of leading R&D groups responsible for continuous galvanizing and several steel strip surface technologies. The education was complemented by a global MBA study at LIMAK from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Faderl has chaired several international conferences and has been a member of several symposium organizing committees.
